Holistic Development

Co-curricular Activities

A weekly activity period in which every child does something with their hands, their voice or their feet.

Co-curricular activity here is universal, not selective. Every child takes part every week — there is no audition, and no child sits out because they are not good at it yet.

Performing arts

Vocal and instrumental music, classical and folk dance, drama and stagecraft, with performance at assembly and school events.

Visual arts & craft

Drawing, painting, clay and pottery, paper craft, textile and dyeing work, rangoli, and set-making for events.

Speech & language

Elocution, recitation, debate, extempore, storytelling and the school’s editorial team for the annual magazine.

Science & making

Tinker-lab projects, robotics, the science exhibition, mathematics puzzles and the astronomy evening.

Physical

Athletics, basketball, badminton, traditional Indian games, yoga, mallakhamb, chess and carrom.

Service & citizenship

Green School work, community outreach, cleanliness drives and the Prefectorial Board’s duties.
